About this rodeo

Colorado State Fair’s rodeo is a four-night PRCA series, not a single performance: the 2026 run fills Big R Arena from August 28–31. Its clearest difference is the pairing of the first three rodeos with post-rodeo country concerts—by Ian Munsick, Dylan Scott and Neal McCoy—while Monday remains a lower-priced stand-alone rodeo. The fair also offers pre-rodeo chute tours on all four days for a behind-the-scenes introduction to competitive rodeo. Big R is an outdoor arena with a mix of covered bench sections, uncovered bleachers and reserved boxes. Concerts, tours and seating details are specific to the arena program; the surrounding Colorado State Fair is the broader event.
