About this rodeo
The 2027 Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo is the Colorado Gay Rodeo Association’s Denver-area stop on the International Gay Rodeo Association circuit. Scheduled for July 9–11, it follows a tradition CGRA traces to 1983 and describes as the world’s longest-running gay rodeo. Its arena program mixes familiar disciplines such as bull riding and barrel racing with IGRA-style camp events including goat dressing and the wild drag race. The result is both a competitive rodeo and an LGBTQ+ Western gathering, built around inclusion, community service, and charity support.
