About this rodeo
North Haven’s first annual Pro-Rodeo brings a three-performance IPRA/APRA program to the North Haven Fairgrounds, with evening shows Friday and Saturday and a Sunday matinee. The card combines bareback, bull riding and saddle bronc with tie-down roping, steer wrestling, cowgirls’ breakaway roping, team roping and barrel racing; the organizer also bills professional rodeo clown-comedian Bryne Hope. More than $35,000 in prize money is promoted for the cowgirls and cowboys. A separate Kids Rodeo runs one hour before each main performance, offering stick-horse racing, hula-hoop roping, a boot race and limited-entry mutton busting for children weighing 30–60 pounds.
