About this rodeo
Iron County Fair’s PRCA rodeo combines national professional competition with visibly local Utah elements: the card highlights local women in breakaway roping and barrel racing and includes a Ranch Hand Saddle Bronc contested with working saddles. The 2026 fair schedule places rodeo activity on Friday, Saturday and Monday at the Main Arena. Each night has its own identity—Friday’s Purple Night supports domestic-violence awareness, Saturday ends with fireworks, and Monday’s Teal Night supports suicide-awareness work. The organizer also says WPRA competitors join this year’s lineup. Midway dancing after Friday and Saturday is fair-night programming attached to the rodeo, while the PRCA, WPRA and local saddle-bronc events describe the competition itself.
