About this rodeo

Caldwell Night Rodeo is a five-night PRCA competition built around nightly community themes and a final championship performance. The 2026 run spans August 18–22; gates open at 5:30 p.m., junior rodeo precedes the pro action, and the main competition begins at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday recognizes first responders, Wednesday supports the Man Up Crusade, Thursday is CNR Strong, Friday is Patriot Night, and Saturday brings back the top 12 athletes in each event for the championship. Its signature spectator culture divides the grandstands between the spirited “Rowdies” and traditional “Civies.” The organizer describes a scale of more than 50,000 fans, roughly 700 participants and seven nightly events.
