About this rodeo
Falcon Frontier Days Rodeo is a student-run NIRA college rodeo hosted by the University of Wisconsin–River Falls Rodeo Club and Team. The 2026 edition marks the event’s 62nd anniversary, with three public performances across September 11 and 12 at the university’s Lab Farm 1 rodeo grounds. Nine college-rodeo disciplines span roughstock and timed competition, from bareback, saddle bronc, and bull riding to goat tying, breakaway roping, and barrel racing. On-site parking, team-run concessions, and possible audience activities such as a boot race or mutton busting reinforce its campus-and-community character.
